MEDICAL HYPNOTHERAPY

Medical hypnotherapy is a powerful and effective form of therapy that works directly with your sub-conscious mind. People use it to address a range of different challenges from pain management to sports performance to overcoming fears and phobias. In Mel’s opinion, understanding how to work with the sub-conscious in combination with the human energy bodies is an extremely effective way to solve problems.

Treatment Process

The process may be a little different depending on what issues we are helping you  solve or find improvement in.  You are, at all times, aware of all things happening and being said. Under hypnosis, you have absolute free will. You are in a hyper-attentive state and not asleep. While in this trance-like state, you have heightened focus, concentration and inner absorption. There is a calm and tranquil feeling during the session, which allows you to fully concentrate on a thought, memory, feeling or sensation while blocking out distractions.

Most people will come in weekly for at least a few weeks. Then, depending on goals.  After the first few weeks, we can begin to gauge appropriate future treatments. Our goal at 460’s Journal is to address your issue in as few Sessions as possible. Having said that, repetition and reinforcement is critical to the success of any hypnotherapy program.
